Job Purpose : Replacement contract As an Accountant , your role entails: ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the bank’s financial records by managing reconciliations, invoice processing, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This position is important for maintaining efficient financial operations, and ensuring adherence to accounting standards and tax regulations. Financial Reconciliation & Compliance : The accountant is responsible for the reconciliation of nostro accounts, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded, and discrepancies are promptly identified and resolved. Budget Control & Account Adjustments : Monitoring supplier invoices and overhead accounts for both Brussels, Paris and London branches, ensuring expenses align with budget forecasts and adjusting accounts when necessary. Carrying out any additional tasks assigned by the line manager to support the finance team’s operations. Relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related fields. Can be replaced by truly relevant banking experience.
