What You’ll Do
As an Insurance Data Analyst , you will play a key role in helping the team understand the data and transform it into actionable insights. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, apply statistical methods, and use visualization tools to communicate your findings to stakeholders at all levels.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Preparation:
~ Gather and clean data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets) to ensure accuracy and usability.
Analysis & Insight Generation:
~ Use statistical techniques to explore and interpret data, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.
Visualization & Reporting:
~ Build compelling dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
Stakeholder Communication:
~ Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strategic Collaboration:
~ Work with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver data-backed solutions that drive performance and growth.
Continuous Improvement:
~ Stay current on new technologies and trends in data analytics and bring innovative thinking to the team.
What You Bring
Proficiency in SQL and data querying techniques
Experience with Python or R for data analysis
Strong skills in data visualization and reporting tools
Solid understanding of statistics , data modelling , and data warehousing concepts
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong communication and presentation skills
Independent, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science , or a related field
Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus
Fluency in Dutch or French , with good command of English
