Be the Financial Engine Behind a Site That Makes a Difference

Are you ready to lead finance at the heart of a high-impact manufacturing site? At Baxter, we're looking for a strategic and hands-on Plant Controller to join our Senior Leadership Team in Lessines. This is more than a numbers role — it's your opportunity to shape the financial future of a site that helps save and sustain lives every day.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lessines, Belgium.

What You'll Do

As the financial steward of our manufacturing operations, you'll:

• Be a key voice at the table as a core member of the Plant's Senior Leadership Team.
• Own the numbers — from P&L to balance sheet — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight.
• Drive performance by providing strategic financial guidance, influencing decisions, and holding teams accountable.
• Lead planning cycles including monthly closes, forecasts, and annual/long-range plans.
• Champion cost improvements and margin-enhancing initiatives across the plant.
• Model investments and support business cases for new initiatives and capital projects.
• Elevate financial acumen across both finance and non-finance teams.
• Spot trends and opportunities for continuous improvement — and act on them.
• Collaborate globally with FP&A, BBS, and other partners to modernize and streamline financial processes.

What You Bring

• A degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA/MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, ideally in manufacturing or operations.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, and capital analysis.
• A track record of leading changes and influencing cross-functional teams.
• Experience in matrixed, global environments.
• Strong communication skills — you can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Bonus points if you've worked with Lean tools or continuous improvement frameworks.
