As HR Business Partner, you are responsible for aligning HR strategies with business goals.

Key responsibilities :
  • Provide guidance to management on HR-related issues.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to shape HR policies and procedures that support organizational objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive workplace environment.
  • HR Metrics Analysis: Analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR strategies.

Essential Duties

Career Management

  • Follow-up and resolution of individual issues with managers, colleagues, and social partners, particularly in managing leave, behavior issues, overtime, and absenteeism.
  • Analysis of HR KPIs (absenteeism, overtime, leave, etc.) and discussion with the HR Manager to implement necessary actions.
  • Follow-up on individual talent management, particularly in terms of TRP, evaluation, and development plans.
  • Individual salary analysis considering Internal Equity to validate salary adjustments, promotions, etc.
  • End of career: reference for the managers and colleagues regarding end of career, RCC, early retirement, etc.

Field Presence

  • Field presence via Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 to discuss HR topics and participate in night and weekend shifts.
  • Participation in bi-monthly HR Belgium meetings

EHS and Safety

  • Relay individual EHS issues and follow-up with the safety advisor and Doctor, EHS team, and/or designated persons.
  • Follow-up on reintegration paths and sensitive medical cases.
  • Back-up for the Safety Council

Job Creation and Classification

  • Creation of job descriptions with managers and adherence to internal HR rules.
  • Prepare and lead the Classification Committee for Blue Collars (highly exposed to union representatives)
  • Legal monitoring and sharing of legal information within the HR team.

Other Responsibilities

  • Conduct improvements in local HR processes (Plant onboarding, Carpooling, benefits)
  • Participate, organize, and implement training for the hierarchical line.
  • Conduct 6S audits
  • Support social elections
  • Ensure expertise in the HR management software (Workday).
  • Key actor on global surveys: BPTW, Manager effectiveness.
  • Participate in HR projects with other Baxter plans across the world
  • Interact and influence union representatives on various career management topics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master degree is required; field of study in HR, or similar is ideal.
  • 5+years of experience in HR manufacturing or related field.
  • Experience in an HRBP role within a regulated industry; medical devices preferred.
  • French speaker and very good English knowledge
  • IT skills (Canva, Office, Power BI, SD Worx, Protime, workday)
