YOUR ROLE
You work as a trusted HR Business Partner, staying close to the field while supporting people-focused initiatives that strengthen the organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as sparring partner for operational leadership teams.
- Serving as a bridge between the field and HR headquarters to ensure efficient and pragmatic execution of HR initiatives.
- Coordinating key HR processes such as performance management, merit cycle, and succession planning for first-line leaders.
- Handling employee relations cases (performance, dismissal, collaboration).
- Closely collaborating with the CHRO during meetings with union partners and fostering constructive social relations.
- Supporting a Major Account with HR KPI follow-up, reorientation, and training needs in collaboration with hiring managers.
- Contributing to the rollout of the new HRIS (SAP SuccessFactors) and ensuring alignment between operational needs and HR tools.
YOUR PROFILE- You have solid experience in an operational HR Business Partner role, preferably in a field-based services environment.
- You bring strong social and legal expertise, with experience in navigating union relations and handling worker-related dossiers.
- You communicate with clarity and empathy, and easily build trust with leaders and employees alike.
- You can work independently and thrive in a changing context.
- You are hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- You are fluent in Dutch and French. Knowledge of English is a plus.
PRACTICAL- Contract type: Freelance
- Workload: 3 to 4 days per week
- Duration: 4 months, with possible extension
- Start: a few onboarding days in mid-December, full start in January
