What You'll Do

As a Senior Consultant (Energy), you will work closely with client leadership teams to:

  • Define and lead end-to-end business and technology transformation strategies and programs addressing major energy transitions and regulatory change.

  • Drive high-impact digital transformation initiatives across areas such as energy trading platforms, digital twins, smart assets, and data-driven operations.

  • Shape and deploy modern IT architectures across the full energy value chain—from upstream exploration and production, through midstream transmission and distribution, to downstream refining, trading, and retail.

  • Design and implement advanced technology solutions leveraging AI, blockchain, cloud, IoT, and big data analytics, tailored to the needs of energy sector clients.

  • Evaluate, coach, and upskill client technology teams to strengthen operational resilience and innovation capability.

  • Own project execution, risk management, and senior client relationships, including regular interaction with C-level stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

  • Master's degree in Business Engineering, or any IT/digital related field.

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in IT consulting, digital strategy, or technology transformation, ideally within the energy sector.

  • Proven track record at a top-tier consulting firm or in a strategic technology or digital role within an energy company.

  • Deep understanding of the energy ecosystem, including renewables, conventional energy, trading, grid technologies, and regulatory environments.

  • Experience leading technology-enabled transformations across areas such as smart grids, renewables integration, energy trading, or upstream optimization.

  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to address complex business and technical challenges creatively and pragmatically.

  • Solid familiarity with modern technology stacks, Agile delivery methodologies, and legacy modernization in energy environments.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a strong client and results orientation.

  • Fluency in English and either French or Dutch; additional languages are a plus.

  • Strong willingness and flexibility to travel frequently.
