Service Delivery Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Onsite Delivery Specialist to support the physical deployment of PCs and ensure successful integration into the client’s network environment. This is a hands-on role suited for candidates with experience in IT hardware setup, basic networking, and working in professional customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, unpack, and physically set up desktop PCs, monitors, and peripherals at client premises.
• Connect systems to the local network, domain, and printers as per client specifications.
• Perform initial configuration and verification to ensure devices are operational and aligned with IT policies.
• Install approved software and apply network policies (e.g., security patches, antivirus, etc.).
• Liaise with remote IT support teams for troubleshooting, escalation, or access rights issues.
• Record asset details, serial numbers, and user allocations for inventory management.
• Ensure minimal disruption to end users during installation and setup.
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to client confidentiality protocols at all times.
• Provide daily updates and sign-off documentation as required by the project team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in IT hardware deployment or desktop support roles.
• Strong understanding of basic networking (IP configuration, joining domain, printer mapping).
• Hands-on experience with Windows OS, Office 365, and enterprise software installation.
• Familiarity with corporate IT environments, ticketing systems, and deployment tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow structured processes and documentation.
