W11 Support Engineer

Project Overview

CDH Professionals client is rolling out Windows 11 across its production environment. We are looking for a hands-on contractor to join a small, agile team focused on replacing and upgrading end-user devices in and around the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-assessments of hardware and software to ensure compatibility with Windows 11.
• Coordinate with production leaders to plan and schedule device replacements with minimal disruption.
• Handle staging of hardware and software, including imaging, configuration, and testing.
• Migrate custom software and user-specific settings/data to new devices.
• Deploy and validate new machines on-site at the production plant.
• Provide basic end-user support during and after deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Windows 10/11 deployments in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Ivanti for software deployment and system management.
• Familiarity with hardware staging, imaging tools, and user data migration tools.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with production staff and IT teams.
