We are seeking a experienced and dynamic Senior Group Legal Counsel to join CFE’s legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, along with knowledge of construction law and public private partnerships. This role offers the opportunity to expand into other legal areas such as GDPR, insurance law, public market regulations, IT, labour law and to contribute to the growth of an innovative and rapidly expanding Group. As part of the CFE’s legal team, you will report to the General Counsel while working alongside experienced (legal) professionals. You provide expert legal advice on corporate law and corporate governance matters. You provide expert legal advice and support to the Group’s entities on construction law and public-private partnerships and assistance with clients’ negotiations. You explore and practice various areas of law, including GDPR, insurance law, public market regulations, IT and labour law, by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents and contracts. You hold a Master’s degree in Law. You have at least 8 years of relevant experience in corporate law, gained in a major law firm and/or as an in-house lawyer, preferably in a comparable sector. You have experience in corporate law, along with knowledge of construction law and public private partnerships. You have interest in other areas of law such as GDPR, insurance law, public market regulations, IT, labour law, ... You work autonomously but also thrive as a team player. You excel in verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. You are fluent in French, Dutch and English.
