YOUR ROLE AS A FINANCIAL ANALYST

As a Financial Analyst at Cleeven, you will work at the heart of business strategy, supporting clients with critical insights that inform their operations and investment decisions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Financial modeling: Build, maintain, and enhance models to forecast financial performance, valuations, and investment returns.
• Budgeting & forecasting: Analyse current performance, support annual budget planning, and track variances.
• Reporting & dashboards: Prepare accurate financial reports, KPIs, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Business case analysis: Support the development of business cases for new initiatives, product launches, and investments.
• Market & competitive analysis: Conduct sector benchmarking and monitor economic trends impacting performance.
• Support strategic decisions: Translate data into clear, actionable insights that drive sound business decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, controllers, and executive teams across multiple functions.

WHO YOU ARE

You combine analytical precision with a business-oriented mindset. You're comfortable working with numbers, but always focused on the bigger picture.

Your ideal profile:

• Master’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
• Fluent in English + Dutch or French (trilingual is a strong asset)
• Proficient in Excel, financial modeling tools, and BI/reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
• Autonomous, proactive, and structured in your work
• A first experience in consulting, banking, or corporate finance is a plus
