This is your chance to join the C&A team as a Freelance Shape Designer (m/f/d) limited-term project!

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic designer to join our Childrenswear team on a freelance basis. This temporary role focuses on babywear and includes responsibilities such as research, CADs, graphics, and tech packs across various product categories. We’re looking for someone with a flexible mindset, a hands-on attitude, and a positive, collaborative personality.

Your responsibilities

• Research and analyze trends and competitive brands in your area
• Conceptualize and accurately sketch design ideas
• Design graphic placement prints and develop embellishments
• Work closely with the Design Manager, focusing on achieving a commercial outcome
• Create tech packs with detailed design specifications for factory sampling

What you bring

• A degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Graphics or a related field
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the children's accessories market
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Solid understanding of graphics, embellishments, fabrics, and print technologies
• Confident in liaising with buyers and factories
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus, but not essential
