We are hiring a BIM-savvy Mechanical Designer with strong Revit programming skills. You'll lead the development of electromechanical equipment design models and contribute to the company's digital engineering standards. We are hiring a BIM-savvy Mechanical Designer with strong Revit programming skills. You'll lead the development of electromechanical equipment design models and contribute to the company's digital engineering standards. This role blends hands-on technical design with BIM automation to optimise WTE plant layouts. What You'll Do
- Create detailed 3D models and design documentation using Revit and Inventor
- Develop and customize parametric families and BIM workflows (Dynamo scripting)
- Integrate process and mechanical design into centralized BIM models
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM deliverables
- Interface with suppliers and construction teams to ensure model accuracy
- Troubleshoot model issues and provide design solutions aligned with client specs
- Support BIM implementation and training within the design team
- Several years of experience in mechanical design with a focus on electromechanical components
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Proven expertise in Revit and BIM automation (Dynamo scripting, family development)
- Strong command of Inventor and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with plant design, technical diagrams (PFD, P&ID), and layout optimization
- Ability to work across disciplines in a collaborative BIM environment
- Precise, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong asset
