Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Process Trainee to support the documentation and optimization of key organizational processes. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with strong analytical and communication skills, eager to gain hands-on experience in business operations. The trainee will work closely with various departments to map, document, and evaluate internal processes related to sales, procurement, and supplier management, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and streamline workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, understand, and document existing business processes across the organization.
  • Focus on core areas such as sales, supplier interactions, and procurement workflows.
  • Conduct interviews, process observations, and gather data to develop accurate process maps and documentation.
  • Propose improvements or automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce redundancies.
  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure documentation is clear, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Monitor and report on process improvement initiatives.
  • Support managers with price/quote requests and other administrative tasks.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related field (recent graduate or final-year student).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (French is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of process mapping tools is a plus (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
