Data Governance Senior Analyst

MUST BE BASED IN BELGIUM Fluent in Dutch and English (Hybrid – 50% on-site, 50% remote) Duration: ASAP- 31st December 2025 Take the lead in shaping the future of data governance in a high-impact, cross-functional role at the heart of a data-driven organisation. As a Senior Data Governance Specialist, you’ll drive the development and rollout of robust data product frameworks that support regulatory compliance, data quality, and strategic decision-making. Define and implement enterprise standards for data products (quality, semantics, modelling, regulatory compliance, and interoperability) Coordinate the rollout of standards with senior leadership. Act as a change agent and key contact for data governance, quality, and compliance issues Partner with Business, IT, and Data teams to increase the strategic value of data products Strong knowledge of Data Mesh principles (data products, specifications, contracts, metadata) Experience with enterprise data management tools Familiarity with project management and planning tools Background in the financial services industry Strong team player who thrives in multicultural environments Language: Fluent in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus) Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years in data governance or related data disciplines This role is ideal for a seasoned Data Governance Specialist eager to make a substantial impact within a leading organisation.
