Title: Support to Surveillance ADS-B Anomaly

Duration: 1 year freelance contract (extension possible)

Background
The tender relates to the surveillance of Mode S anomalies investigation. A large part of the civil aviation surveillance is based on two technologies:
Mode S surveillance: Mode S surveillance is based on a ground segment (Mode S radar) and on an airborne equipment (Mode S transponder)
Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast – ADS-B surveillance
The candidate should cover the following tasks
Task 1 – Mode S Data extract, preparation and analysis
Task 2 – Mode S Investigation
Task 3 – Mode S Anomaly process flow improvement and harmonisation with the ADS-B process flow
Task 4 – Back up the ADS-B activity
Educational requirements
Mandatory :
Hold a university degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent technical field; a specialisation in aviation systems is considered an asset
Technical/professional qualification
Mandatory:
Have either a specialisation in aviation surveillance systems or demonstrate a clear interest in developing such a specialisation through this activity.
Experience in aviation systems development, aviation surveillance systems development, or aviation system technical investigation is considered an asset.
Demonstrate the ability to extract, prepare, and analyse multiple types of data using BI tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, or Power BI), as well as prior experience with Python (or equivalent) coding, including the ability to develop Python scripts and simple SQL queries.
