Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant

Location: Antwerp or Essen, Belgium (hybrid working)

Salary: Up to €80k + benefits

A global organisation in the health and nutrition sector is looking to hire a Dynamics 365 Business Central Specialist to strengthen its IT function and accelerate how the business operates. This is an end-to-end role spanning ERP enhancement, support, integrations, automation and analytics , working closely with internal stakeholders and external Microsoft partners.

You’ll take ownership of keeping Business Central running smoothly, driving continuous improvement, and helping teams get real value from reporting and workflow automation.

What you'll be doing in the role:

Business Central (ERP) enhancement & support

• Own the ongoing enhancement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Monitor critical workflows and integrations, identifying risks early and coordinating fixes
• Resolve issues quickly and implement preventative measures to stop repeat incidents
• Manage support tickets and escalations with Microsoft partners, ensuring clear priorities and timely resolution
• Coordinate change requests from scope through to deployment, working with partners and internal teams
• Deliver practical, role-specific user training so teams work confidently in Business Central

Automation & AI-driven initiatives

• Identify improvement opportunities with other departments and shape workable solutions
• Manage rollouts and drive user adoption of new capabilities and tools

Business Intelligence & reporting

• Work with finance, management and key users to translate reporting needs into data models and dashboards
• Support data warehousing and build/refine Power BI reporting that supports better decision-making

Stakeholder management & delivery

• Communicate confidently in English with a range of stakeholders
• Prioritise tasks based on business impact and keep delivery timelines visible
• Set expectations proactively so stakeholders know what will be delivered and when
• Travel internationally when needed to support deployments, alignment, and business priorities

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (highly desirable)
• AL development experience
• Strong knowledge of software implementation methodologies
• Exposure to Power Platform and Microsoft Azure
• Strong data/analytics capability (e.g., Power BI , SQL Server )
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Commercial, business-oriented mindset—able to link processes to organisational goals
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Fluent English and Dutch (additional languages beneficial)
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating across departments and seniority levels
