Missions:
As a Technical Bid Writer, you'll work closely with our Solution Lead to prepare meticulous, well-structured proposals for European Institutions that showcase our company's technical process. Your role involves understanding bid requirements, conducting research, and collaborating with subject matter experts to create compelling narratives that address the client's needs.
Profile:
- Background and experience: A previous work experience in IT Bid Management (Proposal Management, Tender Management, RPF or similar) and/or IT operations + a keen interest in emerging technologies and solutions
- Strong writing expertise
- Languages: English native and/or a superior written and verbal communication skills in business English. Ability to also communicate in French and/or Dutch is a plus.
- Diploma: A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration or the relevant experience
- Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle, proposal writing, development, compliance and contract negotiation
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in bid preparation and review.
- Understanding pricing strategies and financial analysis in bid development
Organisational skills:
- EU-specific Tendering knowledge.
- ICT management skills (e.g. ITSM, IT governance, IT methodologies, IT costing and value management, etc.)
- Ability to comprehend big-picture software solutions.
- Familiarity with business hardware and software systems
- Highly structured and capable of summarizing messages in a visual format.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint. Proficiency in MS Excel
ONSITE: 3days/week onsite in Brussels, BELGIUM.
