Objective The Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for safeguarding the security of IT components in DPD Belux. In this dynamic and critical role, you’ll ensure strict adherence to security policies and drive compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Your efforts directly contribute to minimizing cybersecurity risks and enabling swift acting in the event of security breaches.
Continuously propose and implement security improvements to our operational IT systems.
Ensure DPD Belux remains compliant with cybersecurity regulations, including timely adherence to NIS2 requirements.
Collaborate with various departments to identify cybersecurity and compliancy risks in their processes and workflows.
In collaboration with the infra team, you’ll be involved in the implementation of new technologies and phase out of legacy systems.
Take part in key security projects, such as setting up an external SOC, implementation of new security tools or supporting and follow up of cybersecurity initiatives proposed by Geopost.

Flexible working hours and working from home possible
You preferably have 2 years of experience in a similar cybersecurity role OR you have built your career in compliance, and you are ready to pivot into a more technical cybersecurity position.
Proficiency in English is an absolute must, combined with professional communication skills in Dutch and French.
