We are seeking a commercially driven and multilingual Strategic Account Business Development Manager to join a leading international logistics provider. This role is focused on managing and expanding relationships with key clients across Belgium, with a strong emphasis on parcel and express logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic B2B accounts across sectors such as retail, e-commerce, and manufacturing.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service-level agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, and customer service teams to ensure seamless implementation and service delivery.
- Monitor account performance, conduct regular business reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Ideal Profile
- Proven experience in parcel, express, or logistics services, ideally in a commercial or strategic account role.
- Strong hunter-farmer balance: able to build long-term relationships while also identifying and converting new opportunities.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Location
- Belgium-based, with flexibility to travel across regions as needed.
