Role Overview

As Head of African Development - Project Logistics, you will lead a commercially focused team to drive strategic growth and operational excellence across the African market. This senior leadership role requires a dynamic individual with deep regional expertise, strong project logistics capabilities, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of professionals focused on African market development.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company's project logistics portfolio across Africa.
• Build and maintain high-level commercial relationships with key stakeholders in mining, energy, renewables, and infrastructure sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities and niche verticals to diversify the company's African footprint.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless international freight forwarding operations.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade missions, and client engagements across Africa and Europe.

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience in international freight forwarding and project logistics.
• Extensive commercial network and long-term experience in the African market.
• Demonstrated success in sectors such as mining, solar, hydro, energy, and other industrial verticals.
• Fluency in French and English is essential; additional languages are a strong advantage.
• Open to candidates willing to relocate to Belgium.
