Data Engineer SaaS

For a growing tech consultancy focused on modernising supply chains through data-driven solutions, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. You will support the cloud-native SaaS platform, someone who can bridge business needs with scalable data engineering practices.

Your Role

• Design and improve a robust data integration framework supporting a graph-based digital supply chain model
• Optimise big data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, data science, product) to develop and implement new features
• Lead integration tracks, support testing, and contribute to product roadmap discussions
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure high-quality documentation and delivery

Your Profile

• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, ideally in cloud or SaaS environments
• Skilled in Scala, PySpark, SQL, Databricks, Azure Synapse (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of ETL processes and big data handling
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, version control, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Bonus: familiarity with supply chain data or interest in the domain
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Degree in IT or related field
