IT Solution Analyst

For a client in the South of Brussels, we are looking for a Freelance Solution Analyst.

As a Solution Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. With a strong focus on food production, safety, and traceability, you’ll contribute directly to delivering excellence to our customers.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to uncover business needs related to processes, workflows, and IT systems.
• Delve into food production topics such as food safety and traceability to help deliver top-quality products.
• Analyze current operations, consult with end users and process owners, and propose effective solutions using your expertise.
• Identify and document both functional and non-functional requirements through detailed needs analysis.
• Design, test, and validate new systems and processes to support continuous improvement.
• Create clear, user-focused documentation that ensures long-term sustainability and ease of implementation.
• Manage 2nd line functional incidents, providing support and resolution as needed.
• Participate in on-call support after six months, approximately every five weeks (coverage between 5am–10pm on weekdays and 5am–2pm on Saturdays).

Your Knowledge and Skillset:

• Fluent in DUTCH!
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or supply chain setting, ideally in the food industry.
• Strong functional knowledge of ERP and MES systems—experience with CSB is a bonus.
• Proven expertise in incident management and troubleshooting in complex environments.
