Data Migration Lead

Intro

We are looking for a freelance Data Migration Lead to support a CRM implementation project. The consultant will take ownership of the data migration track, ensuring smooth execution while collaborating closely with the project team. This role requires strong technical expertise in ETL and SQL, combined with leadership skills to guide a junior profile.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data migration track within a CRM implementation project.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using SSMS and SSIS.
• Ensure high-quality migration of data from legacy systems into the new CRM environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align on migration strategy.
• Apply expertise in SQL for data transformation, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to a junior team member.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data migration projects, preferably within CRM implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce (preferred) or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong SQL expertise, with proven ability to design and execute complex queries.
• Solid experience with SSMS and SSIS for ETL development.
• Track record of leading or mentoring junior colleagues.
• Based in Belgium; fluent in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
