AI/Data Engineer - start-up - Antwerp

Dark Light is a specialized recruitment & project staffing agency, with focus in data, AI & business intelligence profiles.

We’re working with a fast-growing startup in Antwerp and we’re looking for an AI Engineer (4+ years experience) to help build and scale their AI-driven logistics platform.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain Python-based backend systems
• Develop AI & data pipelines using LangGraph
• Work with LLMs (prompt engineering, function calling, evaluations)
• Improve OCR and multi-modal processing (PDFs, images, scans)
• Monitor and maintain production cloud pipelines

What we’re looking for

• Strong Python experience
• Docker, SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and OCR pipelines
• CI/CD experience
• Fluent in English
• Fast availability (end of January 2026 at the latest)
