About the Role
Dekimo Louvain-la-Neuve is looking for an Electronics Engineer with strong expertise in programmable logic (FPGA & CPLD) and embedded systems to join our small team.
Here, you won’t just execute tasks — you’ll have a real say in project decisions, influence design choices, and help shape the future of our products.
You will lead and contribute to new electronics designs while also managing the lifecycle of existing products, including digital logic obsolescence and redesigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead and participate in the creation of embedded electronic systems from requirements to prototype and production.
- Programmable Logic Design: Implement, optimize, and maintain FPGA and CPLD-based architectures (VHDL/Verilog).
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage obsolescence, redesign hardware, and ensure ongoing product availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hardware, software, and test engineers for seamless integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to design reviews, propose enhancements, and keep designs aligned with industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience with FPGA and CPLD development (VHDL/Verilog, synthesis, simulation, timing analysis).
- Solid knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, communication interfaces, and debugging tools.
- Experience managing product obsolescence and redesigns.
- Strong problem-solving skills, independence, and team spirit.
- Good communication skills in English and/or French.
