Accountant

A GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTANT (m/f) for Automotive Client in Leuven:

Context:

Duration: 5 months + chance of extensions

Location: Kortenberg Hybrid

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Language: French and Dutch Speaking

Role:

• Within our Accountancy & Collections department, you will be responsible, as a General Ledger Accounting Advisor, for the overall accounting management of the Client and Automotive Lease, taking into account the legal framework.

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring, analyzing reconciling our general ledger accounts to deminige our back-log
• Month-end closing
• Helping with improvements and optimalisation
• Helping with audit
• Supporting the team.

In this role, you will interact with various internal departments and external partners (vehicle importers, insurers) to gather the necessary information for booking and analyzing data.

Profile:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting with strong experience in AP/AR/GL;
• You have an analytical mindset and demonstrate accuracy and precision
• You are fluent in Dutch and French, with a good command of English;
• You have a good knowledge of SAP and are proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
