FERMA is seeking a Head of EU Affairs to lead and elevate its advocacy efforts, strengthening the Federation’s influence within the European Union. This role reports directly to Typhaine Beaupérin, FERMA’s CEO and Secretary General.

The Head of EU Affairs Role

As the voice of the risk management profession, FERMA relies on your expertise to:

1. Develop and drive EU advocacy strategy, crafting impactful strategies and collaborating with members to shape FERMA’s positions.
2. Build strong stakeholder engagement, forging and nurturing relationships with EU institutions and other influential stakeholders.
3. Monitor, advise, and guide on legislative and policy developments affecting risk and insurance management.
4. Champion thought leadership, designing advocacy campaigns and representing FERMA in meetings and forums with EU policymakers.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is eager for a new challenge, deeply passionate about EU policy and law-making, and brings 5+ years of experience in EU affairs. A first-class degree in European Politics or Law is required, with expertise in financial, digital, or climate policies. Knowledge of risk management or insurance is a valuable bonus.
