Your role

Join us as a Marketing Lead and work within the EIT Digital Marketing department to facilitate the communication and dissemination of innovation programmes and projects conducted by EIT Digital and our consortium partners. Your contribution will be crucial to ensuring that key audiences are aware of the value generated by these activities, and in some cases, the opportunity to participate in them.

This position will fill a role at the intersection of digital marketing and digital tech. Individuals with strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and knowledge of the tech sector are encouraged to apply.

You will report to the Senior Marketing & Dissemination Lead.

Your tasks and opportunities

  • Coordinate communication and dissemination tasks in EU-funded projects and utilise your prior project experience to ensure operational excellence and timely execution of deliverables and reporting.
  • Develop and implement communication campaigns. Use a data driven approach to monitor, adapt and improve campaign performance.
  • Deliver the outward facing image of projects with strategic importance to Europe's digital sovereignty in a manner that maximises engagement and understanding.
  • Prepare compelling digital content, both written and visual. Leverage your background in content and product marketing, along with understanding of digital tech trends to maximise impact.
  • Oversee the production of websites and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with project goals and branding and EU rules for visibility.
  • Test and deploy new marketing strategies. The marketer's toolkit is evolving more rapidly than ever. You will help keep EIT Digital at the forefront of this evolution.
  • Organise and promote events.
  • Attend project meetings and events, with occasional travel across Europe to partner locations and event venues.

What we are looking for

Must have:

  • Academic degree, BSc or MSc, in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). Or an equivalent degree in journalism, communication, marketing or political sciences with proven experience in technical domains.
  • Deep familiarity with EU funding programmes (e.g., Horizon Europe, EIC Accelerator, Digital Europe) and the communication/reporting requirements of EU Funded projects.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience producing deliverables for EU funded projects (e.g., dissemination materials, newsletters, white papers, public reports).
  • 3+ years experience in relevant marketing or communications positions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the digital tech landscape.
  • Experience creating B2B and B2C marketing content aligned with brand voice and strategy.
  • Graphic design skills using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Oktopost).
  • Ability to repurpose data and insights into compelling stories or visuals.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Adobe Analytics).
  • Strong knowledge of marketing KPIs and how to track them (e.g., CAC, LTV, CTR, conversion rates).
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and audience targeting.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of the digital health tech landscape may be a bonus for some applicants.

Languages

Fluent in English at least one additional EU language. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in this role.

Place of employment

Preferably at EIT Digital HQ in Brussels, although location at one of the EIT Digital European offices with easy connection for travel in Europe might be considered.
