Credit Controller

EMEA Recruitment is proud to assist a global, industry-leading organization in its search for a Credit Controller Europe as they continue to evolve their Quote-to-Cash (QTC) operations.

As the Credit Controller, you’ll join a high-performing team and take on varied responsibilities in a fast-paced, international environment. Responsibilities of the Credit Controller Europe:

• Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial analysis and internal risk management tools
• Oversee and manage order releases, ensuring alignment with credit limits and aging thresholds across the European region
• Enforce credit policies and procedures in strict alignment with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Operate within the Global Business Services (GBS) framework to support end-to-end service delivery
• Participate in digital transformation initiatives, including the use of advanced cash management and collection tools (e.g., High Radius)
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams to resolve credit roadblocks and support business growth
• Identify process gaps and contribute to automation projects aimed at enhancing credit operations efficiency

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit control, ideally within a multinational, Shared Service (GBS), or international environment
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in credit management systems
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder management
• English language skills at a professional working level; any additional European language is a plus
• Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA knowledge is highly advantageous)
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative on-site setting (minimum 4 days per week)
