🌍 We're Hiring: Offshore Cable Project Engineer

📍 Location: Various locations (offshore/remote/office)

🕒 Employment Type: 6 month contract with option to extend

I am seeking a driven and experienced Offshore Cable Project Engineer to join our dynamic team working on innovative offshore wind, interconnector, and subsea cable projects across various regions.

🔧 About the Role:

As an Offshore Cable Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical delivery and coordination of subsea cable projects from early development through to installation and commissioning. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering and technical aspects of offshore cable installation projects
• Support project planning, risk assessments, and interface management
• Liaise with contractors, vessel operators, and cable manufacturers
• Contribute to route engineering, burial assessments, and cable protection strategies
• Oversee offshore operations and ensure compliance with industry and HSE standards
• Review technical documentation, method statements, and work procedures

✅ Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering/relevant working experience (Electrical, Marine, Mechanical, or similar)
• 3+ years of experience in offshore wind, subsea cable installation, or related sectors
• Strong understanding of offshore cable design, routing, and installation methods
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to travel offshore as required (valid offshore certifications are a plus)
