RPG Developer AS400

Your Role?

We are seeking a skilled and experienced RPG Developer AS400 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RPG programming on the AS/400 (iSeries) platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a technical environment and enjoys working on mission-critical systems.

Your Key Responsibilities ?

• Design, develop, and maintain AS400 applications using RPG (RPG IV, RPGLE, Free RPG).
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Debug and optimize existing RPG programs to improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts and end-users.
• Document application changes and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices.

What do you already bring to the table?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing in RPG on AS/400.
• Strong knowledge of CL, DB2/400 (SQL), and DDS.
• Experience with tools like SEU, SDA, PDM, or RDi.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.
