Freelance Business Analyst – Insurance (Hybrid, Antwerp)

Contract duration: 12 months and extendable

Location: Antwerp 2-3 days onsite

We are looking for a motivated Freelance Business Analyst to join a dynamic team in Antwerp. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility while contributing to impactful insurance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business analysis in larger insurance organizations, with a focus on non-life insurance.
• Apply analysis and modeling techniques, including BPMN and UML, to define and document processes and requirements. Use cases experience is a plus.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Learn and leverage design tools like Enterprise Architect or Adonis to create clear, professional models.
• Translate business needs into actionable deliverables for technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis within insurance, preferably non-life.
• Experience with BPMN, UML, and other modeling techniques is a plus.
• Medior to senior level, with proven ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to design tools like Enterprise Architect or Adonis.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
