The Role
As the Construction Lead Supervisor, you will take ownership of all construction activities on a significant commercial site in Belgium. You will guide site teams, manage subcontractors, enforce safety and quality requirements, and ensure the project meets critical deadlines and budget expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Manage subcontractors and site teams, driving performance and collaboration.
- Materials & Logistics: Ensure timely availability and efficient management of materials.
- Site Supervision: Oversee daily site activities to ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and regulations.
- Reporting: Provide progress, risk, and budget updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as primary on-site contact for project managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Plan and coordinate work schedules, resolving on-site challenges.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain quality standards, enforce QA procedures, and uphold safety protocols.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years experience as a Construction Supervisor or Lead in large commercial building projects. Data Centers are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and Belgian building regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Safety certifications (e.g., VCA, OSHA) preferred.
- Based in Belgium or willing to relocate (must already have the legal right to work).
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €90,000 – €130,000 (depending on experience)
