Engilico , headquartered in Rotselaar (near Leuven, Belgium) with offices in the USA, Germany, and Japan, specializes in  innovative, in-line seal inspection systems for both food and non-food packaging. We develop and produce these systems to monitor and improve the seal quality of packaging, serving customers across Europe, North America, Japan, and Australia. Since 2021, Engilico is part of the PACRAFT packaging, owned by the international Nabtesco technology group.

To strengthen our team, we’re looking for a motivated  Application / Field Service Engineer to assemble, install, and support our inspection systems at customer sites in EU and Americas.

Your responsibilities

• You’ll work from our Belgian headquarters, where you  design, assemble, test, and prepare systems for shipment — primarily for our  SealScope and  HyperScope  product lines.
• Since our systems are tailored to specific packaging machines and customer needs,  electromechanical design is an essential part of the job.
• You’ll assist with the design and testing of peripheral systems such as  reject mechanisms and conveyors.
• You’ll  travel frequently (up to 50%) across Europe and North America for system installation, commissioning, and customer training.
• You’ll be part of our  online/remote support team helping customers with technical issues.
• You’ll provide  feedback to the R&D team based on your field experience and customer interactions to help improve product features.

Your profile

• Degree in industrial engineering or equivalent through experience, with a strong interest in  mechanics, electronics, and software .
• A  creative self-starter who can manage projects and planning independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly ( up to 50%of the time).
• Customer-focused and communicative with a technical mindset.
• Fluent in  Dutch and English . Basic knowledge of  French and/or German is a plus.
