Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

We are working with a Utilities provider who are embarking on a long-term S/4HANA programme.

They require an SAP ABAP Consultant to join them on an initial 6-month contract.

This role will focus on supporting invoicing and accounts receivables processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment, combining corrective maintenance with small project enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver ABAP development to support invoicing logic and account receivables in SAP S/4HANA

• Work with RAP and CDS to improve system performance and implement new functionality

• Manage incident resolution and corrective maintenance for billing-related processes

• Collaborate with business and functional teams on upcoming 2025 enhancements

• Ensure high-quality, stable code in a high-volume billing platform

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong ABAP development experience in SAP S/4HANA environments

• Hands-on expertise with RAP and Core Data Services (CDS)

• Knowledge of invoicing, receivables, and processes within utilities or similar industries

• Ability to support both corrective maintenance and forward-looking enhancements

• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 Months (with potential extension)

• Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite

• Location: Belgium (Ghent, Mechelen, or Brussels)
