IBMi System Administrator


We are working with a leading financial services organisation who are strengthening their Core Banking Technology landscape. They require a Systems Administrator (IBMi Platform) to join them on a long-term assignment. This role will focus on ensuring the stability, performance, and security of their IBMi environment supporting critical banking operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain IBMi systems to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
  • Support CI/CD processes using Arcad or similar tools within the IBMi environment.
  • Develop and maintain RPG, CL, and SQL scripts for automation and system management.
  • Manage DB2 databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
  • Implement and oversee security architecture within IBMi, including user access and compliance controls.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or Technical Specialist on IBMi (AS/400) systems.
  • Strong understanding of RPG and CI/CD (Arcad or equivalent).
  • Solid knowledge of CL, SQL, and DB2 within IBMi environments.
  • Experience with IBMi security architecture and related compliance frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills with experience in enterprise-scale systems.


Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 Month Contract - Option to Extend
  • Hybrid working (1/2 days per week onsite) – x2 location options (Brussels, Belgium or Brno, Czechia)
