Business Development Manager - Waste Management

We are looking for a a proactive and results-driven Sales - Business Development Manager to lead the growth and expansion of GIS solutions in Belgium and Luxembourg. As a key member of our team, you will drive business development efforts, foster strong client relationships, and position our GIS solutions as the go-to choice for utility companies looking to unlock and leverage the power of spatial data. Strong track record in sales & business development, preferably within the technology, GIS, or Transportation sector. Market Development & Sales Leadership : Take ownership of developing the GIS solutions market within your sector in Belgium and Luxembourg. Understand their specific business needs and challenges and provide tailored GIS solutions that help them achieve strategic goals, improve efficiency, and drive innovation. Build and nurture long-term relationships with utility decision-makers, including GIS departments, IT managers, and C-level executives. Actively expand your professional network, fostering relationships that support both client success and business growth. Position yourself as a thought leader in GIS solutions, showcasing how spatial data can drive cost savings, operational improvements, and new capabilities. Collaboration with International Teams : Work closely with Esri’s international teams across Europe and the US. Exchange knowledge, support global initiatives, and ensure alignment in delivering world-class GIS solutions to clients. Proven Sales Experience : Strong track record in sales or business development. Experience and understanding of the GIS technology Consultative sales, with the ability to build relationships, understand client challenges, and recommend appropriate solutions that align with business objectives. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and decision-makers. Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English is essential to effectively communicate across regions and client profiles. Collaboration Across Teams : Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive sales strategy and exceptional service to clients. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving GIS adoption in your sector, influencing strategic decisions, and playing a pivotal role in the growth of our company.
