Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Solutions Manager located in Brussels. As a Business Solutions Manager at ECCRT, you will play a critical role in driving our commercial success by identifying, closing, and expanding client opportunities in the life sciences industry. You’ll be at the forefront of building relationships, understanding client needs, and confidently positioning ECCRT’s training services as the go-to solution. This is a highly client-facing, proactive sales role that is perfect for someone who thrives on results and wants to help shape the future of clinical research training in Europe and beyond.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (~70%)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the clinical research and life sciences sector.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across pharma, biotech, Medtech, and CROs.
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, client presentations, and closing.
- Represent ECCRT at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
- Work with the team to create tailored proposals that align ECCRT’s services with client challenges and goals.
- Keep ECCRT’s CRM system fully updated with sales activities and client interactions.
Client Relationship Management, Events & Strategic Input (~30%)
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout their journey with ECCRT.
- Conduct follow-up meetings to gather feedback and discover new opportunities.
- Resolve client questions and concerns with speed and professionalism.
- Attend internal business meetings and contribute market insights to shape ECCRT’s offering.
- Represent ECCRT with confidence and professionalism in external forums and industry discussions.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience in the life sciences industry or related field (pharma, biotech, MedTech, CROs, or training providers).
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and meet commercial targets.
- Familiarity with clinical research is an asset but not required. However, a solid understanding of the life sciences industry—its key players, roles, and how organizations operate—is essential, along with strong curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn.
