Senior Test Engineer - Advanced Robotics

We are currently partnered with a well funded deep tech robotics start up in Belgium positioned to become a key player in the machines of the future. The team are looking to hire an experience Test Engineer to design the rigs and protocols that allow design teams to push the boundaries of human-centered robotics.

This opportunity is based onsite in Brussels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of the validation for complex, high-performance gearbox systems.
• Design and build custom mechanical test benches and experimental rigs from the ground up.
• Evaluate critical metrics including torque efficiency, thermal behaviour, and back drivability.
• Work as a peer to the Design team, identifying root causes and recommending engineering improvements.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 7+ years in drivetrain validation or complex mechatronic evaluation.
• A strong hands-on affinity for assembling complex electromechanical setups and instrumenting rigs.
• High proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW for data processing and NVH analysis.
