Maintenance Planner

Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner for a new permanent position based in Belgium on behalf of a well-known European client to arrange the short and long-term planning for maintenance activities on their fleet of aircraft.

Your day-to-day responsibilities in this position will include:

• Taking account for the planning of scheduled/un-scheduled maintenance of aircraft,
• Compiling work orders and task cards into maintenance packages,
• Setting up maintenance staggering programmes to minimise the risk of grounded aircraft,
• Constant follow-up with planning and adjustments to avoid maintenance delays,
• Calculating forecasts for manpower usage and maintenance limitations.

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years’ experience in CAMO/aerospace maintenance, as well as liaising with internal/external departments such as maintenance crews and quality teams to ensure that all corrective/preventative tasks are carried out on the aircraft whilst maximising the fleets’ operational ability. Ideally, you will be competent in the use of AMOS/similar operating systems to keep record of all maintenance plans and any reports that need to be raised with various personnel.
