Currently active in cities such as Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Warsaw, Krakow, and Riga, Fuse is entering a new phase of growth as we transition from operator to owner and expand across Europe.

As Controller / Senior Controller, you’ll be responsible for ensuring financial integrity and operational discipline across the Fuse group. You will lead financial reporting, oversee accounting processes, and manage compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with the founders, you’ll play a key role in consolidating financials, managing audits, and improving processes to support our next stage of growth.

This role is ideal for someone with real estate or project-based finance experience who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and wants to help build the financial backbone of a scaling platform.

We’re looking for someone ambitious—this position offers a clear path to a CFO role. It’s well suited for a finance professional with startup experience (or mindset) who’s eager to take ownership, drive structure, and grow with the company.

what you’ll do

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across all entities
• Consolidate group-level financials and ensure consistency across countries
• Coordinate local accounting firms and ensure compliance with legal and tax regulations
• Prepare annual accounts, oversee audits, and manage tax filings
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Manage cash flow reports, payment cycles, and internal controls
• Help implement and optimize accounting tools or ERP systems
• Monitor compliance and financial risks across jurisdictions
• Collaborate with legal and operations on investments, structuring, and reporting

what we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or audit—preferably in real estate or a project-driven environment
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA/ACCA or equivalent is a plus
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting tools (Exact, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Understanding of real estate finance, property structures, or multi-entity setups
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and hands-on
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a strong advantage
• Ambition to grow into a CFO role and take ownership at group level
