Shift Process Operator

At our underground storage facility in Loenhout, natural gas is stored at depths that can exceed one kilometre. The gas is kept in buffer so that users can at any time cope with the difference between the quantity they supply and the quantity their customers purchase. 

Our Loenhout site is looking for a continuous Shift Process Operator (m/f/x).

You will work with your colleagues to guarantee a safe, efficient (production) process.

• After a training period, during which you will learn about our facilities and their operation, you will join the site's continuous shift system
• You will manage and monitor the entire process from the control room via the control system and/or in person on site 
• You will interpret data and incoming alarms and take the appropriate steps, whether during normal operation, incidents, start-up or shutdown  
• You will monitor the site on a daily basis by conducting inspections and safety checks  

• You have a secondary education diploma in a technical field (electrical science, process engineering, mechanics, electromechanics, etc.) as a minimum 
• Some professional experience in a process environment would be an asset 
• You are fluent in Dutch and proficient in French and English 
• You live less than 30 minutes away from our Loenhout site or are willing to move that close 
• You are willing to be part of an on-call system 
• You can work independently and are happy to take on responsibility 
• You have a category B driving licence
