GOlegal is looking for one or more experienced Legal Counsels to support our legal delivery team. You’ll be part of a fast-moving, tech-enabled LegalOps startup that combines smart legal minds with cutting-edge tools to make law & compliance more agile, efficient, and scalable.

This is an experienced position, perfect for early-career profiles with some previous work experience in B2B legal service delivery positions who are curious, hands-on, and eager to build legal experience beyond the traditional path.

🧩 Your role in a nutshell

You’ll help us deliver legal projects and services by supporting case work, reviewing documents, researching legal topics, and interacting with clients and tools. You'll also contribute to the development our proprietary next-generation tools (Clawscan.ai & ABCD) enabling smarter & more efficient legal & compliance operations for our clients.

Expect structured work organization, coaching, and plenty of learning opportunities.

You will:      

• Assist in preparing legal documents, contracts, or project deliverables
• Conduct legal research using internal tools and databases
• Use document automation and legal tech platforms
• Track case and task progress using our legal project tools
• Collaborate with clients on their cases
• Contribute to internal process improvements and overall growth strategy

🎓 What we’re looking for

Must-haves

✅ Master’s degree in Belgian Law

✅ Fluent in English + Dutch or French

✅ Prior work experience (2-4 years; law firm, legal team, or legal tech)

✅ Sharp eye for detail, structured thinking

✅ Strong sense of ownership and team spirit

✅ Willingness to learn, test, and grow in a fast-paced setting

Nice-to-haves

✨ Interest in legal tech, operations, or process optimization

✨ Familiarity with document automation or legal databases
