What will this role achieve?
As a Stock Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of inventory management within our warehouse operations. You will act as the key link between procurement, logistics, and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support a seamless supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Accuracy
- Monitor and maintain precise stock records across all systems, ensuring real-time visibility of inventory.
Stock Audits & Compliance
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full audits, reconciling discrepancies promptly and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Inbound & Outbound Coordination
- Track and validate stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and dispatches, to guarantee timely and accurate flows.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Generate and interpret inventory reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and planning teams to optimise stock flow and support production schedules.
Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in stock control processes and propose solutions to enhance accuracy and reduce costs.
System Management
- Ensure proper use of inventory management tools and ERP systems, supporting digitalisation initiatives.
Compliance & Safety
- Uphold all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in stock handling and documentation.
Packaging
- Manage packaging material procurement, including the creation and tracking of purchase orders (POs)
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability, quality, and on‑time delivery of packaging components
- Analyze and calculate packaging requirements based on production forecasts and inventory levels.
What do you need for this role?
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in inventory or stock management, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
