Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary:


The Onsite IT Support Technician will provide technical assistance and support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently at client locations.


Expected qualification and critical experiences –

  • Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance and system updates.
  • Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions.
  • Collaborate with remote support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of service requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
  • Provide user training and guidance on IT systems and applications.
  • Ensure adherence to company IT policies and security protocols.
  • Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.

Mandatory Skills and Certification:

  • Proven experience in IT support or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
