• Automated Quality Control: Developing systems that detect production flaws with high speed and precision on an assembly line.
• Robot Vision & Guidance: Writing software that enables a robotic arm to recognize, pick up, and accurately place objects ('pick-and-place').
• Material Inspection: Building a system that uses specialized cameras to inspect the quality of textiles, metal, or even food based on texture and color.

In short, you work on tangible solutions that have a direct impact on our clients' factory floors.

Your Role: The bridge between software and the physical world As a developer at Heliovision, you are the core of our projects. You translate a client's challenge into a robust, smart software solution that interacts with the real world. One month you might be building an inspection system, the next you're guiding a robot. This variety is the essence of your job.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing robust software in Python.
• Implementing advanced computer vision algorithms with OpenCV.
• Training, optimizing, and deploying various AI models for image recognition and analysis.
• Selecting the right hardware (cameras, lenses, lighting) by consulting with external experts.
• Installing and testing the solution on-site at the client's location.
• Contributing to the technological roadmap and exploring new vision techniques.

Your Profile: Passion for tech, experience with vision We are looking for someone who thrives in an environment with a lot of variety and who is challenged by connecting software to physical reality.

• You have a deep-rooted passion for technology and enjoy solving a problem from A to Z.
• You have proven experience with computer vision. Knowledge of OpenCV is a must.
• Python holds few secrets for you.
• You have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.
• You are independent and proactive. You can manage a project and consult the right experts when needed.
• You are a team player who thrives in a small, dynamic team where your input counts immediately.
• You are a creative problem-solver who enthusiastically takes on the unique challenges of ever-changing projects.
• You are eager to learn and can start quickly.
