OMP Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Support full-cycle OMP implementations, from requirements gathering to configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Work closely with clients to understand their supply chain challenges and develop tailored OMP solutions.
• Configure and optimise OMP modules for demand planning, supply planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Provide expert-level guidance on best practices and process improvements using OMP technology.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, supply chain, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration with ERP and other enterprise systems.
• Deliver end-user training and post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption and continued success.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in OMP software and supply chain trends to drive innovation within projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, consulting, or enterprise software implementation.
• Strong expertise in OMP, with hands-on experience in solver techniques.
• Proven track record of successful OMP implementations across industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or retail.
• Deep understanding of supply chain planning processes, including demand forecasting, production scheduling, S&OP, and inventory management.
• Experience integrating OMP with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and other enterprise platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex supply chain scenarios and deliver actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• OMP certification or equivalent hands-on experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
