"IT Director" (FR/NL) eager to evolve in a reference hospital in Brussels with multiple sites.
As CIO you will lead its digital transformation in line with the institution’s strategic objectives, and drive digital innovation to enhance patient care, improve the patient experience, ensure IT performance and continuity, secure data, and optimise processes. You will bridge clinical needs, hospital challenges, and technological advances, placing technology at the service of both patients and care providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the hospital’s digital strategy and based on organisational needs and risk analysis.
- Anticipate and translate technological developments (AI, cybersecurity, IoT, cloud) into opportunities for the hospital.
- Oversee the Information Systems Department (IT, data, infrastructure), managing all information systems, including security and compliance with GDPR/NIS2.
- Ensure cybersecurity, system resilience, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead digital transformation across all departments (clinical, logistics, HR, finance), fostering a culture of innovation and user focus.
- Supervise key projects (telemedicine, automation, interoperability, data intelligence), ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Manage and develop IT teams, promoting collaboration, innovation, and service quality.
- Oversee resource management, cost optimisation, and supplier relationships, including public procurement and contract negotiation.
Profile
- Master’s degree in IT, engineering, management sciences, or related field, with at least 10 years’ senior IT leadership experience, ideally in complex environments.
- Proven expertise in large-scale IT project management, systems architecture, IT governance, and cybersecurity.
- Must meet legal bilingualism requirements (French/Dutch).
