Officer (part-time) - Department of Economics

Job Posting Details

 

The appointee will provide administrative support for departmental seminars and conferences.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making travel arrangements, processing reimbursements, assisting conference chairs with logistical arrangements, and performing any other duties as assigned by the Head or designated representatives.

Applicants should possess an associate degree or higher, preferably a bachelor's degree, along with at least 3 years of relevant secretarial or administrative experience.  Experience in the tertiary education sector is advantageous.  The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong communication and multitasking skills.  They should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating high flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility. (Duration: 6 months, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits will be provided where applicable.
