Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Brand Technical Specialist for Data products within IBM's Data Platform, you will act as a technical consultant to IBM clients and sellers by architecting solutions and delivering Proofs of Technology for various Data products. This role involves collaborating with clients and sellers to design and implement data solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Deliver Solution Architectures: Design and deliver solution architectures for Data products, including Capture, Content Manager, and Cloud Pak for Data, to meet client requirements and demonstrate product capabilities.
Conduct Proofs of Technology: Develop and deliver Proofs of Technology to demonstrate the value of Data products, such as DataStage and Decision Optimization, to clients and sellers.
Provide Technical Consultation: Offer technical consultation to clients and sellers on the implementation and usage of Data products, including Master Data Management and SPSS Statistics.
Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their data needs and provide solutions using Data products, such as Cloudera & Hadoop and MongoDB.
Support Solution Delivery: Assist in delivering data solutions to clients, ensuring successful implementation and integration of Data products.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
Exposure to IBM or open sources / open standard Data Products
Technical Consulting Skills: Experience engaging with clients to understand data needs and advise on implementation/usage of products
Solution Architecture: Ability to shape end‑to‑end data architectures that meet requirements (scale, governance, security) and clearly demonstrate product capabilities.
Proof of Technology Development: Hands‑on skill building and delivering PoTs/PoCs that prove value with measurable outcomes. Demonstrated success running demos, PoCs, technical workshops, and closing technical validation steps with enterprise stakeholders.
Data Solution Implementation: Exposure to delivering integrated solutions that connect heterogeneous data sources and platforms into a cohesive data fabric.
Experience: 3–6 years in technical sales, data engineering, or IT consulting
Cloud & Data Skills: Practical familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and with SQL/NoSQL/Spark or similar modern data tooling. Knowledge of RedHat Openshift is also required.
Languages: Dutch, French, and English proficiency for client engagement across Belgium & Luxembourg.
